The focus of Camp Friendship is to provide a rich Korean cultural experience for Korean-born adoptees and their siblings through various mediums. Classes include tae kwon do, drumming, art, dance, cooking, folklore, brush painting, language and music. Most of our instructors are talented, professional members of the Korean-American community. Camp is open to all Korean adoptees and their siblings in grades Kindergarten through eighth.
Children will be placed in groups based on the grade they will be entering in September 2018. A parent volunteer will be with each group during the course of the day. All campers will receive a color-coded official Camp T-shirt, which must be worn every day. Additional T-shirts can be ordered if desired.
We look forward to another exciting year at Camp Friendship. We hope that your child will join us for a week of sharing and fun in which new friendships are formed and old one re-kindled. This rich experience is sure to give your child a sense of pride in himself/herself as well as in his/her Korean heritage.
